Our Lady Peace was formed in 1992. There choice of style is post grunge. In 92', at University of Toronto, singer Raine Maida met guitarist Mike Turner. The two of them formed the post-grunge music group Our Lady Peace. Or OLP for short. They later recruited bassist Chris Eacrett and jazz drummer Jeremy Targget. The first album created by OLP was called Naveed, and was made in 1995. The CD sold over 500 000 copies in the US and Canada. Later, in 1997, the group released thier hit CD called Clumsy. But before they made the CD Chris went back to school and Duncan Coutts replaced him. OLP has been invited to play at woodstock this year in Rome, NY. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

On Feb. 18th, 1970, in west Toronto. A superstar was born. That superstar's name is Michael Raine Maida. On June 5th, 1962, Mike Turner was born and raised with 3 sisters in Bradford, England. April 7th Jeremy Taggart was born. Jeremy played in the band before he finished High School. The band waited for him to graduate before recording Naveed. On Feb. 4th, Duncan Coutts was born. After finishing University. In 1995, Duncan found out that his real name was Bob. Before joining OLP, he was a set dresser on the hit TV show Due South(The best show in the world) | |||||||||||||||||||||||
